Foothills Craft Happiness
Project continues on with May, Fun IPA, 6.5% ABV and 70 IBUs. Fun IPA is
helping out kids who face hardships in life by making youth fun and enjoyable.
Fun is brewed with Mandarina hops. Fun IPA pours a cloudy golden color with a large
five finger fluffy white head with great retention that leaves behind lacing
that looks like thick white stripes on the glass. The aroma is fruity with
subtle citrus notes and a slight hop aroma Fun IPA has a similar taste to the
way it smells, you get some nice subtle fruity citrus upfront a little
bitterness in the middle and a bit of a stronger bitterness and a resin flavor
on the end. Mouth feel is light yet somewhat refreshing and balanced. Fun IPA
as a nice smooth finish with a hoppy yet subtle bitter citrus after taste that
quickly fades away. Fun IPA is a good
and drinkable beer it’s a B+. The flavor is not as bold as some of the Craft
Happiness beers have been a little bolder on the flavor than this but Fun IPA
is a good beer. The fruit flavor we a little subdued as where the hoppy bitter
flavors. At some points while drinking this beer it was like a strong or extra
pale ale. That is still good. But I think the others in this series are just a
tiny bit better. But this Fun IPA is a beer I would recommend. So if you see
Foothills Brewing Co. Craft Happiness Project Fun IPA, take it home and enjoy
it! Cheers! Please enjoy responsibly!
