Kingfisher Premium Lager Beer

I have said this before that most countries around the world have at least one national beer brand, and you can find most of them in the United States. Some counties are having more popular beers than some others, like Germany, England, U.S.A. and Belgium being some of the most popular beer producing countries. Here is a national beer brand from India and it is the biggest beer domestic brand in India probably the biggest of all beer band there, Kingfisher Premium Lager Beer, 4.8% ABV. Kingfisher is listed as a pale lager, and the name comes from the small to medium sized group of brightly colored birds that mostly pray on fish and have a long sharp pointed bills, short legs, big heads and stubby tails. I don’t think these types of bird drink beer, but are found in India. Kingfisher pours a light pale goldish yellow color with half a finger of a bright, tight white head that dissipates rather quickly. I found some much light coming through the glass and I could see though the beer, with nice large amounts of carbonation bubbles. The aroma on Kingfisher is basic and thin; there is a malty scent of some random grains. The taste is boring with not much going on but a thin malted grainy flavor that borders a slight fruity flavor with a slightest touch of a off biter flavor. The mouth feel is light and thin, with an unpleasant grainy finish with an after taste of wet flavorless biscuit gains. I have to say that Kingfisher is a really boring tasting beer, not a nasty or bad tasting beer. I would say Kingfisher Premium Larger Beer is an F beer, just for being so boring and flavorless. Is it better that any American Lagers? Not really, it doesn’t taste as watered down as most American Lagers do, but it isn’t better. I would not really recommend Kingfisher. It's flavors are so flat and so boring. So if you want to go out and try this and see what you think of it, then sure go for it. Cheers! Please enjoy responsibly!
